Art Sessions For Kids 2026-2027

Malta Art Events is a creative art studio where children can explore different artistic techniques, experiment with materials and develop their own ideas in a friendly and supportive environment.

The classes are based on the real artist experience , with a focus on hands-on creativity rather than following a formal academic art curriculum.

Ages 4–6

€50 per month

Includes 4 creative sessions per month.

Ages 7–9

Wednesday

4:00–5:30 PM

Friday

5:30–7:00 PM

€60 per month

Includes 4 creative sessions per month.

Ages 10–12

Thursday

5:00–6:30 PM

€60 per month

Includes 4 creative sessions per month.

Children who are already 12+ are also welcome to continue with us. Their projects can be adapted to their experience and skill level.

🎨 WHAT DO WE DO?

Our programme changes and grows together with the children. Every year we explore new ideas, materials and creative challenges.

Depending on their age and experience, children can work with:

• Acrylic and watercolour painting

• Oil and soft pastels

• Drawing and illustration

• Papier-mâché

• Sculpture and 3D projects

• Collage

• Mixed media

• Printing and creative techniques

• Textured art

• Working with different surfaces and materials

• And many other creative experiments

The older and more experienced children become, the more detailed and challenging the projects can be.

The aim is not simply to teach children how to copy an image. We encourage them to experiment, make their own creative decisions, solve artistic problems and gradually develop their own way of seeing and creating.

Our studio is a relaxed and welcoming place where children can feel comfortable being themselves.

We encourage children to ask questions, try something new, make mistakes and learn through the process.

I believe children should be treated as individuals, with their own personalities, ideas and feelings. My role is to support and guide them while giving them enough freedom to discover their own creative voice.

🎨 ALL ART MATERIALS ARE INCLUDED

All materials required for the creative sessions are included in the monthly fee.

Children don’t need to bring their own paints, brushes or other art supplies — they can simply come to the studio and create.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Malta Art Events is a creative art studio, not a formal school or academic art institution.

We do not prepare children for art school entrance exams, O-Level examinations or university applications.

Our focus is on creative development, artistic experience, experimentation, confidence and enjoyment of the arts.

For children who have been attending for several years, the programme continues to develop with them, offering more advanced techniques and more challenging projects as their skills grow.

Places for the 2026–2027 creative season are limited in order to keep the groups comfortable and allow me to give each child enough individual attention.

As we don’t currently have an online booking system, please contact us directly to check availability and reserve a place.
